WELCOME
The Friends of the Victorville Library are community members who believe in the power and importance of public library services. Working together, they promote goodwill and inspire support from residents and community leaders alike, helping ensure the library continues to thrive.

Our Story
Through advocacy, outreach, and fundraising, the Friends raise essential funds for computers, equipment, furniture, books, and a wide range of library programs. Their efforts also help increase public awareness of the library’s needs and the vital role it plays in the community.
Since 1992, this dedicated group has served as a meaningful bridge between the library and the community—strengthening connections, expanding opportunities, and supporting a lifelong love of learning.

We Inspire Readers
We support programs, resources, and events that spark curiosity, encourage lifelong learning, and foster a love of reading for all ages.
Friends Bookstore
Our bookstore offers affordable books for the community while generating funds that directly support library programs, services, and improvements.
Little Free Libraries
We help expand access to books throughout the community by supporting and maintaining Little Free Libraries—bringing reading beyond library walls.
Community Engagement
Our volunteers actively participate in local events, connecting with the community, sharing library resources, and building awareness and support for the library’s mission.
